THE EEMFC LIBRARY

The collection:

The Library, which is operated by the Faith and Spirituality Network Suffolk on behalf of the East of England Faiths Agency CIC (EEFA), is housed at the East of England Multi-Faith Centre which is managed by the EEFA. The Library consists of the merged holdings of EEFA and the former St. Edmundsbury Cathedral Library (which itself contains donated libraries from several smaller institutions including Hengrave Hall.)

The collection of about 3,500 books is predominantly a traditional academic theological library covering philosophy of religion, Biblical studies, resources for Hebrew and Greek languages, church history, pastoral theology, ministry, and spirituality.  There is good representation of comparative religion, world religions and interfaith studies, with about 400 titles from the original EEFA collection.
