8 March 2020

Dear Friend,

I am writing to you as a member of the Faith and Spirituality Network (Suffolk) to update you on some recent and current projects.

LIBRARY

The Multi-Faith Centre has recently acquired the library of St Edmundsbury Cathedral, which is in the process of being re-catalogued. Once this major work is completed we hope that the library will be a valuable resource for those currently associated with the Centre and all interested in theology and religious studies. The catalogue will be available online and a series of events are planned to showcase our new extended library and promote the Multi-Faith Centre's use by faith groups, charities and community organisations.

TIME AND TIMELESSNESS

Representatives from the East of England Faiths Agency contributed to a symposium held in Aldeburgh from 19th-23rd February, during which Andrew Marr, AC Grayling, Blake Morrison and others explored the theme of Time and Timelessness through philosophy, physics, theology, art, music, literature and poetry.

WHATSAPP GROUP

In order to keep members of the Network updated on forthcoming events and current issues, I invite you to give your consent to joining our new WhatsApp Group. If you would like us to be in touch with you in this way please email me your mobile telephone number.

COURSES

Details of our current courses can be found on the EEFA website www.eefa.net. These are currently taught at the Mult-Faith Centre, 47 St Helen's Street, Ipswich. If, however, you would be interested in a course being held more locally to you, please let me know.
